4. Mark Brunell

Brunell gets somewhat forgotten in the pantheon of quality quarterbacks, but he certainly deserves to be remembered. Brunell came to the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the expansion draft in 1995 by way of the Green Bay Packers. Brunell was originally supposed to be a backup to Steve Beuerlein, but quickly ascended to the starting role.

The former 1993 fifth-round pick out of the University of Washington came to stardom in 1996 as he led Jacksonville to its first playoff berth in franchise history. The Jaguars then stunned the country on consecutive weeks, beating the Buffalo Bills on the road before taking down the top-seeded Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium, despite being 14-point underdogs.

Brunell continued to play with Jacksonville through the 2003 season before bouncing around at the end of his career with the Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints and New York Jets, retiring after the 2010 season. Brunell was able to win a Super Bowl with New Orleans in 2009. Brunell finished as a three-time Pro Bowler with 32,072 passing yards, 184 touchdowns and 108 interceptions.
