5. Denver Broncos

This is a ranking going on the notion that Peyton Manning can adapt to Gary Kubiak’s offense. Manning has been playing in the same system for his entire career, mostly playing out of the shotgun while throwing quickly from the pocket. Now, Kubiak is asking Manning to take most of the snaps from under center while also rolling out and throwing on the run.

Luckily for Denver, the cast around Manning is one of the best in the game. The receivers are a dynamic duo of Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas, who received a five-year deal this offseason worth $70 million. In the backfield, C.J. Anderson is the clear top option with Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman trying to steal carries away.

The only question besides Manning is the offensive line. After losing Orlando Franklin in free agency and left tackle Ryan Clady to a torn ACL, the Broncos are without much experience up front. The left tackle figures to be Ty Sambrailo, a second-round pick. Sambrailo could be next to a bevy of players, including Ben Garland or Max Garcia. The ranking might be high, but Manning commands this type of respect until proven otherwise.
