2. Indianapolis Colts

Many believe the Indianapolis Colts are going to win the Super Bowl this year. If they do, it won’t be because of the defense. Indianapolis is built to put up around 30 points per game after an offseason that saw three more weapons added to an offense that ranked third in the league in yardage and sixth in points.

The Colts are led by the one and only Andrew Luck, who has led the Colts to the playoffs in each of his three seasons. In all of those years, Indianapolis has advanced one round further, falling last year in the AFC Championship to the New England Patriots. With the Colts falling short, general manager Ryan Grigson signed Frank Gore to bolster the running game before inking Andre Johnson and drafting receiver Phillip Dorsett in the first round.

With all of those weapons being added to T.Y. Hilton (who was given a five-year contract extension this week) and the tight end duo of Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen, the Colts are insanely potent. This could be the type of offense that has teams down two or three scores in the first quarter, allowing Robert Mathis and Trent Cole to rush the quarterback. This is a dangerous team.
