13. Randy Moss

Randy Moss was one of the most prolific wide receivers in the history of the NFL, albeit one of the most troublesome at the same time. While talented, Moss’ career was often plagued by other off-field issues.

Still, on the field there were few that were as talented as Moss.

Moss is likely remembered primarily for his stints with the Minnesota Vikings and the New England Patriots. While with the Vikings, Moss lined up across from Cris Carter to create one of the best wide receiver duos in NFL history. In New England, Moss was paired up with one of the best quarterbacks in the history of the NFL in 2007.

In 1998, Moss and the Vikings went to the NFC Championship game to cap a 15-1 season but fell short of the Super Bowl. Moss finally reached the Super Bowl with the 2007 Patriots team, capping a perfect regular season. Eli Manning and the New York Giants ended the Patriots’ incredible run with one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history.

Moss also was on the 2012 San Francisco 49ers team that went to the Super Bowl but wasn’t a focal point in their offense in the twilight years of his career.

Moss has etched his name in the record books though, catching 23 touchdown passes in 2007, a single-season record. Moss is second on the NFL all-time regular season touchdown reception list with 156. His 15,292 yards receiving ranks third all-time as well.
