  • Besides being a vocal leader for the Nationals, he has been putting up MVP-type numbers in 2015, hitting .326 with 30 homers and 73 RBI. While his power numbers have steadied a bit over the past month, he will likely ramp it back up before the season ends.

He’s No. 1 reason the Nationals will win the World Series because his bat could change the way this entire lineup looks. Without Harper, the Nationals’ lineup is just an average group of players, but with him, they are a completely different squad.

More than halfway through August, the big lefty power-hitter has only blasted one out of the park this month. In fact, sine the All-Star break he only has four homers and 12 RBI.

Once Harper gets back on track, this team will be borderline unstoppable. The Mets better enjoy being in first place right now, because it might not last very long.
