5 Reasons the San Francisco Giants will repeat as World Series champions

Strong Bullpen
The arms in the bullpen have been there and done that a few times this decade, and even without Madison Bumgarner in the pen it’s still a pretty effective group.
They are 9th in MLB in bullpen ERA, and 10th in opponent batting average at .236. Santiago Casilla struggled earlier this month, but has put together two solid outings and still has 29 saves.
Former closer Sergio Romo has been stellar of late, and has dropped his ERA to 3.38 over his past 15 games. Hunter Strickland gives the Giants a young, powerful right-handed arm, and been dynamite in his first full MLB season.
From the left side, the Giants will ride veterans Javier Lopez and Jeremy Affeldt. The side-arming Lopez has dominated lefties, while Affeldt has struggled and battled some injury issues as well this season.
Yusmeiro Petit gives the Giants length out of the bullpen. This is also the guy who holds the MLB record for consecutive batters retired.
George Kontos has had the best year of his career at age 30, and the Giants can use their other starters out of the bullpen as well.
