Usain Bolt wins nail bitter over Justin Gatlin (Video)

Usain Bolt is the fastest runner alive, but he almost lost a step in his latest race — which was a phot finish classic.
When the Olympics roll around, everyone gets obsessed with national pride and rooting for their country. But whenever Usain Bolt is involved, it seems we all get behind him as though he’s a country of his own.
It’s hard not to root for Bolt, who has a name that aptly defines exactly what he’s like on the track. But on Sunday he had a scare against Justin Gatlin, who almost caught up with the fastest man alive. Gatlin was running on a 28-race winning streak and nearly extended that to 29-races on Sunday.
In the final stretch of the race, Bolt came from behind to barely win the race in what is already being deemed a classic in the track and field community. They don’t get much closer that the race on Sunday and rarely do we see as thrilling a finish with such gigantic names like Bolt and Gatlin.

This is just what Usain Bolt does — he wins. He’s the fastest human being alive, and he’s going to remind us of that every chance he gets.
All of that said, this was as tight of a race as we’ve seen Bolt in and it might be a sign that he’s starting to lose a step. Of course, a step is what he needed to win this race and he still has one up on everyone else in the world for now.
