Bonus: There are so many options for this Saturday that I included a bonus to make sure all the positions were covered.  If Brandon Phillips-2B-Cincinnati Reds was in my top ten, it would give me three Reds, but if I left him out I’d be without a 2B.  To keep from overloading on Reds but still provide you with all the positions, I’ve included him as a bonus option.  In his career, Phillips is 8-26 (.308) against Brewers’ starter Matt Garza with a  double and three RBI.

10. Logan Morrison-1B-Seattle Mariners: The Mariners shook up their front office yesterday and responded with a 2-0 win last night in Chicago against the White Sox.  Tonight, they’ll face Jeff Samardzija in game three of their four-game series.  Logan Morrison has a good history against Smaradzija coming into tonight’s game 4-12 (.333) with a pair of home runs and four RBI agains the Chicago righty.

9. David DeJesus-OF-Los Angeles Angels: The Angels are another West Coast team on the road in the Midwest this weekend as they visit the Indians.  The Halos dropped last night’s opener and face reigning AL Cy Young winner Corey Kluber tonight. One Angels’ bat that is worth considering if he gets into the lineup tonight is David DeJesus who knows Kluber from his stint with the Royals.  DeJesus is 5-15 (.333) with three doubles and three RBI in his previous meetings with Kluber.

8. Christian Yelich-OF-Miami Marlins: In one of the few divisional matchups this weekend, the Marlins are hosting the struggling Nationals in Washington.  Miami knocked off Max Scherzer last night and tonight they’ll take on Jordan Zimmermann in game two of their weekend set.  Christian Yelich is one of two Marlins in my top ten batter vs pitcher matchups based on his 7-21 (.333) history against Zimmermann which includes a double and an RBI.
