3. Bryce Harper-OF-Washington Nationals: While the Nationals have been scuffling, Bryce Harper continues his strong season.  Harper enters play tonight hitting .348 for the month with a pair of homers and eight RBI.  Tonight, he and the Nats face Marlins’ righty Tom Koehler who Harper has gone 7-21 (.333) in the past.  The truly impressive part about Harper’s history against Koehler, though, is that five of those seven hits have been home runs enabling him to pick up nine RBI against the Miami’ starter in their previous meetings.

2. Adrian Beltre-3B-Texas Rangers: As the Rangers continue their surge in the AL West, they take on the Orioles tonight as they try to hold on to their current position as the second AL Wild Card.  They’ll face Ubaldo Jimenez tonight in Arlington which is a matchup that sets up well for Adrian Beltre who is 9-23 (.391) with three doubles, two homers, and five RBI against Jimenez in his career.

1. Martin Prado-3B-Miami Marlins: After homering last night off of Max Scherzer, Prado makes our list of the top ten batter vs pitcher matchups for the second day in a row as he looks to extend his hitting streak to eight games against Jordan Zimmermann tonight in Washington, D.C.  In his career, Prado is 12-26 (.462) against Zimmermann with three doubles and three RBI.
