Roy Helu-Oakland Raiders

Helu and his third-down abilities could be a huge boost to the Raiders who may find themselves playing from behind quite a bit this season.  Helu has shown his receiving prowess in his last few years in Washington, and he’ll need to earn the trust of Derek Carr as he adjusts to his new team in Oakland

He’ll  start the year firmly behind Latavius Murray who is starting his first full season as the Raiders feature-back, so don’t sleep on Helu carving into his workload as a change of pace option on early downs as well.

It’s hard to see Helu making too much of a splash early in Oakland since he has missed much of preseason with a hamstring injury. In PPR leagues, though, he makes for an intriguing snatch-and-stash pick as one of the late round running backs who could see his playing time and his role increase as the season progresses.
