2015 Big Ten Championship Game Prediction – Ohio State vs. Nebraska

At the end of the year, the conference title game will culminate with what every team in the Big Ten has been working hard for. The winner of this game could even go one to play for a national title as members of the second annual College Football Playoff.

  • So, who will make it to the conference’s biggest game of the year?

From the East, it has to be Ohio State. The Buckeyes are defending national champions and have a plethora of returning talent to the 2015 version of their team — including three quarterbacks, one has since converted to a wide out, a Heisman candidate running back and a figurative lock for the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year.

How about from the West Division? Let’s go with to a surprise choice here and choose the Nebraska Cornhuskers. It would have been easy to choose the Badgers once again, but I doubt Wisconsin will be as successful as people are expecting.

Nebraska returns its starting quarterback, scary dual-threat Tommy Armstrong Jr. to a team that started 8-1 last season before losing three of its final four games. He has the potential to be a top QB in the conference and lead the Cornhuskers to the big game.

This will surely be a closer contest than the 59-0 thumping the Buckeyes gave to the Badgers a year ago.
