12. Freddie Freeman-1B-Atlanta Braves: While the Nationals have been a disappointment, they’re season hasn’t quite imploded like the Braves’ has.  This weekend the two NL East rivals meet in DC and the Nats’ got the series off to a rousing start last night handing the Braves a 15-1 beatdown.  Tonight, the Braves will look to bounce back as they Tanner Roark.  Freddie Freeman has a good history against Roark coming into tonight 7-17 (.412) with three doubles in their past meetings.

11. Yadier Molina-C-St. Louis Cardinals: The Pirates are fading fast in the NL Central having dropped four in a row as they head to St. Louis for a big weekend series including the Sunday Night Baseball showcase in a few days.  Tonight, the Cardinals will face J.A. Happ who Pittsburgh acquired at the deadline.  One Cardinals hitter who has had no problem with Happ in the past is Yadier Molina who is 6-15 (.400) with a double and a home run against Happ.

10. Prince Fielder-1B-Texas Rangers: Prince and the Rangers are taking on the Angels and Garrett Richard tonight in LA.  Fielder joins fellow-Ranger Mike Napoli as good options tonight based on past history since Fielder is 7-16 (.438) with a double against Richards in the past.

9. Jay Bruce-OF-Cincinnat Reds: Another team with two options on my top batter vs pitcher list is the Reds who look lined up to get good games from Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce as they face Matt Garza.  Bruce is 11-30 (.367) with four doubles, three homers, and nine RBI against Garza in his career.
