4. Bryce Harper-OF-Washington Nationals: Despite his unique box score contributions last night, Bryce Harper is set up for another big game tonight agains the Braves.  Harper is 9-21 (.429) in his career against Braves’ starter Julio Teheran including three doubles, two home runs, and four RBI.

3. Howie Kendrick-2B-Los Angeles Dodgers: While LA is bound to get some veterans rest down the stretch, if Kedrick gets the start tonight he’s a nice option at 2B which can sometimes be a tricky spot to fill.  In his past at-bats against Padres’ scheduled starter James Shields, Kendrick has gone 16-35 (.457) with four doubles, a pair of triples, and a home run.

2. Brian McCann-C-New York Yankees: If you have the ability to get McCann in your lineup, he should be started in all formats as he faces Jake Odorizzi and the Rays tonight.  McCann has gone 10-16 (.625) against Odorizzi in his career with three doubles, a triple, a pair of home runs, and nine RBI.

1. Miguel Cabrera-1B-Detroit Tigers: While any of these top four could be #1 on some days, Miguel Cabrera clearly takes the top spot today based on his success against Corey Kluber.  In this classic matchup of good hitting vs good pitching, Cabrera has gone 19-35 (.543) with a pair of doubles, five home runs, and ten RBI. While the Tigers’ season has been a lost one, Cabrera is showing some signs of finishing strong at the plate including a nice 5-11 stretch to start the month in Kansas City.
