The baseball Hall of Fame honored Will Ferrell for his feat of playing for 10 teams in one day during Spring Training.
This spring, baseball fans probably remember the stunt where actor and comedian Will Ferrell played for 10 different teams in one calendar day. The whole ordeal was filmed for an HBO documentary entitled “Ferrell Takes the Field.”
Now Ferrell is being honored for it.
Hall of Fame president Jeff Idelson presented Ferrell a commemorative plaque and jersey immediately after the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2-0 victory over the San Diego Padres. Ferrell also treated the fans who hung around to a private screening of the film.
