Marcus Mariota throws first TD pass of NFL career (Video)

Marcus Mariota didn’t really take all that long to fire off the first touchdown pass of his NFL career for the Titans
As part of the late-afternoon slate on this NFL Sunday, we’re treated to a match up between the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Of course, as we all know, that means we get another battle between Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston. So, which rookie would strike first with their first touchdown pass of their career?
We didn’t have to wait long to find out the answer to that question, and the answer was Marcus Mariota.
On the first drive of his NFL career to get this one started off, Mariota looked rather sharp in the pocket, which is something everyone was wondering about him as he comes out of that Oregon offense. The drive ended with this beautiful 52-yard scoring strike to Kendall Wright to give the Titans the lead early.
Couldn’t really ask for more out of the reigning Heisman winner than what we got there. He answered a few questions with that drive and now it’ll be interesting to see how he builds off of this.
