Odell Beckham Jr. gets leveled across the middle vs Cowboys (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Odell Beckham Jr. went across the middle for a catch and he dearly paid the price for going into that zone
With the New York Giants taking the field on Sunday night in the opener against the Dallas Cowboys, all America wants to see is Odell Beckham Jr. do some insane things. After he stole our hearts last year with his wide receiver wizardry, we just want to see this young man do his amazing things out there.
What we do not want to see, however, is him get killed out there. That’s pretty much what happened in the first quarter here on Sunday night.
After the Giants hit a field goal, the Giants took their turn with the ball. On that first possession, Beckham went over the middle and Eli tried to fire one in. For going across the middle, Beckham got obliterated.
Yes, that ball did pop loose, but after the review was looked at it was determined that he never had possession of the ball. The Giants were able to keep it and they eventually ended up hitting a field goal.
Also, somehow, Beckham was right back out there on the field. He was a little shaky when he got back up, but he stayed in the game.
