To be fair, Adrian Beltre is 36 years old and his continual rise in stats over the past few years has been somewhat of a mystery. Many had considered Beltre the ageless wonder as he still played the hot corner to perfection and hit .300 with 30 homers and over 100 RBI with relative ease.

However, when you’re accustomed to hitting at, or around, .300 with 30 home runs and close to 100 RBI every year, anything less would be considered a disappointment.
The Texas Rangers have been getting the best version of the slugger since acquiring him in 2011 as he hadn’t hit under 30 home runs and his lowest average, before this season, was .296.
Beltre remains one of the top defensive third basemen in baseball today, but his bat is starting to cool off just as everyone expected it to about three years ago. Adrian would tell you, though, that he’s having one of the worst seasons of his career and that he will come back out next year like his old self.
The 36-year-old former All-Star is hitting .265, the lowest average since 2005, with 13 homers, the lowest mark in a full season during his career, and just 50 RBI which is also the lowest total for a complete season throughout his storied career.
