Team Defenses

Miami Dolphins D (5,100): The Dolphins defense wax good in their opener with a pair of interceptions, a defensive TD, and a sack, but the main reason they’re the most expensive option is that they take on a Jaguars team that still seems lost offensively.  Jacksonville gave up the most points to its opposing DST last week just like they did throughout the season last year.  Look for Miami to put pressure on Blake Bortles and come up with another big fantasy day.

Baltimore Ravens D (5,000): The Ravens defense looked good against the Broncos although they did suffer the loss of Terrell Suggs for the season.  This week, they have a great matchup against the Raiders who couldn’t get anything going week 1 against the Bengals.  While Derek Carr does look like he’ll start, Baltimore is still a good play in their second straight road game against the AFC West.

Tennessee Titans D (4,600): The Titans defense looked very good in week 1 as they took it to Jameis Winston in Tampa.  This week, Tennessee head to Cleveland where they’ll likely face Johnny Manziel who has yet to show he can solve NFL offenses and can turn into a turnover machine.  Look for the Titans to have another solid week defensively.

San Francisco 49ers (4,300): The 49ers looked much better than expected as they smothered the Vikings on Monday Night Football.  They’ll have to go on the road to face Big Ben and the Steelers this week, but they won’t have to deal with Le’Veon Bell who is still out serving his suspensino.  If you have to go cheap on D, San Francisco is the way I would go.

Last Week: Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals
