Fantasy baseball tips: Top 15 batter vs pitcher matchups-9/18
4. D.J. LeMahieu-2B-Colorado Rockies: As the Rockies and Padres finish out their disappointing seasons in the NL West, they’ll meet this week at Coors Field which makes them dangerous to overlook in daily leagues since runs can come in Denver in bunches. The one matchup I like the most tonight in that game is D.J. LeMahieu who is 10-25 (.400) with four doubles, a triple, a home run, and five RBI against Padres’ scheduled starter Ian Kennedy.

3. Martin Prado-3B-Miami Marlins: The Marlins are in Washington for the weekend where they opened their series with a 6-4 win over the fading Nationals last night. Tonight, the Fish will have to take on Max Scherzer but that’s not a bad matchup for Prado who is 9-19 (.474) with two doubles and a home run in his career against Scherzer.
2. Nelson Cruz-OF-Seattle Mariners: While he doesn’t have as long a track record as some of the options in our list today, Cruz has crushed Rangers’ starter Yovani Gallardo, so he’s worth a look tonight. In his previous meetings with Gallardo, Cruz is 6-8 (.750) with a pair of home runs and three RBI.
1. Salvador Perez-C-Kansas City Royals: The top batter vs pitcher matchup for the day gives the Royals three options in our top 15. Salvador Perez has a great history against Justin Verlander and is a very nice play behind the plate. He comes in to tonight 20-41 (.488) against Verlander in his career with seven doubles, two homers, and 13 RBI.
