Team Defenses

Seattle Seahawks (3,400): If you an figure out how to afford them, it’s impossible not to love the Seahawks at home against the Bears. Jimmy Clausen will get the start for the Bears in place of the injured Jay Cutler, and he may also be dealing with an injury-depleted receiving corps. The Seahawks will be desperate, in front of their home fans for the first time this season, and ready to show they’re still a force.  It’s not going to be a good day for Clausen.

Carolina Panthers (3,100): Drew Brees hasn’t looked like Drew Brees this season and the Saints offense can sometimes struggle when they get out of their dome. The Panthers defense has looked solid in their first two games, and should be ready to take it to their divisional rivals this week.

Atlanta Falcons (2,900): Atlanta takes on Brandon Weeden and the depleted Cowboys in Dallas this week.  Dan Quinn has their defense headed the right way, so take a flier on them if you’re feeling adventurous this week.

Detroit Lions (2,700): No team in the NFL has been more giving to opposing defenses than the Denver Broncos.  Peyton Manning has thrown pick-6’s in each of the first two weeks of the season and their offensive line has major issues.  If  the Lions can get their defense turned around they could get their first win of the season.  I expect being home at a raucous Ford Field will give them a huge boost.
