High Value Wide Receivers

Allen Robinson (6,600): Robinson had a quiet week 1 but exploded for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns on six catches in week 2.  He demolished the Miami secondary, and he’ll look to punish another AFC East foe this week in New England.  The Patriots secondary hasn’t been great, and since Jacksonville will likely be playing from behind look for Robinson to get plenty of passes his way.

Donte Moncrief (6,000): Moncrief has been impressive despite the Colts horrible start to the year and looked like the team’s best receiver on Monday Night Football with T.Y. Hilton slowed by injury and Andre Johnson still struggling to adjust to Indy’s offense.  Moncrief caught seven passes for 122 yards and a touchdown giving him two touchdowns on the season with at least six catches in both of the Colts losses.

Michael Crabtree (6,000): Crabtree has drawn tons of targets his first two weeks in Oakland and showed a very nice connection with Derek Carr on Sunday finishing with 111 yards on nine catches including a touchdown.  He had five catches in week one as well from Matt McGloin although the results were less spectacular (37 yards).  This week with Carr under center, look for Crabtree to again post a nice line with plenty of catches as the Raiders take on the Browns.

Ted Ginn Jr (5,200): If you’re looking for a cheap option who gets targets, check out Ted Ginn Jr who is one of the Panthers top receivers but still incredibly cheap.  There aren’t a lot of options for Cam to throw too, and Ginn has received 16 passes his way in the firs two weeks and leads the Panthers with 95 receiving yards.  He’s a bit of a flier, but he’s also in a good matchup against the Saints.

Andrew Hawkins (4,500): If you decide to totally mail in a WR spot, Hawkins is the best ultra-cheap option since he is the presumed (default) #1 WR in Cleveland despite the explosion of Big-Play Benjamin.  He and the Browns face the Raiders defense this week who haven’t been able to stop anyone yet this season.  Hawkins gives Josh McCown a security blanket and if you go cheap, he’s worth a flier.
