NASCAR Sylvania 300 2015: Preview and prediction
Prediction
New Hampshire is considered to be Connecticut native Joey Logano’s home track. He’s won the Sylvania 300 before and would like to win in front of friends and family after falling short in the spring. Logano has been one of the strongest drivers this season and finished sixth last week at Chicagoland.
He is aiming for his first Sprint Cup Championship and on Sunday, he will punch his ticket to the second round with a win. The name of the game is winning races and with the way he competes for the win every week, Logano will set himself up for a long postseason run.
He’s good at short-track racing and New Hampshire’s short track will be a great chance for him to show off what he can do at the track. This is the best season he has put together to date, and if the stars align, it will end in a championship for Logano.
It’s not going to be easy on Sunday. He’s going to have Kevin Harvick giving his best as he tries to stave off elimination in the first round of “The Chase.” Logano will have the biggest win of his career, and will have a postseason defining moment that will allow him to take the next step.
New Hampshire is known for it’s surprises, but it won’t be a surprise when Joey Logano enters victory lane at the Sylvania 300.
