Indianapolis Colts vs Tennessee Titans: Full highlights and recap
The Indianapolis Colts got off the schneid on Sunday, but it took a Herculean effort to topple the Tennessee Titans down in Nashville. Down 27-14, the Colts scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull ahead, 35-27 with roughly two and a half minutes to play. They then gave up a late touchdown and were forced to hold off a two-point conversion attempt to steal victory from the jaws of defeat.
Andrew Luck had an uneven day for the majority of the afternoon, going 18-f0r-30 for 260 yards and two touchdowns. Luck’s turnover ways continued, as he threw two more interceptions (now seven on the season) and nearly lost a fumble. Fortunately for the Colts, Frank Gore shook out of his funk, and Luck came alive in the fourth quarter.
Marcus Mariota also had an unsteady performance for the second consecutive game. He was sacked three times, and also threw his first interception of the season (two in the game). However, the Titans’ top draft pick also went 27-for-44 for 367 yards and two touchdowns.
Indianapolis may have a win under its belt, but it was behind a third lackluster performance.
