RB Duds

Justin Forsett-Baltimore Ravens: Forsett continues to struggle early in the season and couldn’t get anything going against the Bengals.  He finished with just 13 yards on his ten carries and added 16 yards on four catches.

Marshawn Lynch-Seattle Seahawks: Lynch left the game early with a hamstring injury and didn’t manage to go much before he departed.  Lynch finished with just 14 yars on five carries and one reception for nine yards.

Chris Ivory-New York Jets: Ivory was active but did not get a carry or a target in the Jets’ loss.  The good news for his owners is that he didn’t re-aggravate anything and should be closer to full strength for next week. The bad news is he got literally nothing this week.

C.J. Anderson-Denver Broncos: Anderson continued his lackluster start to the season rushing for just 18 yards on his eight carries and adding a nine-yard reception.

LeSean McCoy-Buffalo Bills: McCoy struggled to get things going even though the Bills rolled over the Dolphins.  He finished with just 11 carries for 16 yards and one catch for ten yards.  Fortunately for his owners, he got to the end zone at the end of that one catch, but his low yardage totals continue to be a cause for concern.

Todd Gurley-St. Louis Rams: Gurley didn’t get a ton of touches and did very little with them in his NFL debut.  He ran the ball six times for only nine yards and added a five-yard reception. Owners will hope this is the start of something bigger, but he clearly has a ways to go before he’s fantasy relevant.

T.J. Yeldon-Jacksonville Jaguars: Yeldon didn’t get very involved in the Jaguars’ attack as they tried to play from behind against the Patriots.  He finished with 33 yards on 11 carries and added nine yards on two catches. He’s still clearly the lead back in Jacksonville, so he’s worth a look in better matchups going forward.

Tre Mason-St. Louis Rams: Mason didn’t find any more room against the Steelers than Todd Gurley finishing with just 16 yards on his nine carries and adding only one catch for 15 yards.

Matt Jones-Washington Redskins: Jones put up a dud on Thursday Night Football running for 38 yards on 11 carries and fumbling at the goal line. Jones looked like he’ll be a weapon going forward, but he didn’t post a big week this week.

Isaiah Crowell-Cleveland Browns: Crowell ran for only 36 yards on his ten carries and wasn’t involved in the Browns gameplan as they were forced to play catchup after falling behind big to the Raiders.

Doug Martin-Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Martin split playing time in the Bucs’ backfield with Charles Sims who got a touchdown.  Martin ended up with 46 yards on his 14 carries, but his lack of touchdown and slipping timeshare is concerning for fantasy owners.
