46. . DT. Alabama. A'Shawn Robinson. 15. player

The Indianapolis Colts have floundered so far this season, finally winning their first game in Week 3 after two humiliating losses. In Week 1 against the Bills, the Colts defensive line was ineffective, making rookies and other inexperienced players look like veteran Pro Bowlers. The Colts could benefit from a stronger defensive line, and A’Shawn Robinson has the talent to contribute to that cause.

Robinson recently slimmed down, adding lean mass to his already powerful frame. The defensive tackle out of Alabama excels at tackling effectively, tallying 38 tackles his freshman year and 47 in 2014. He does have room for improvement, however. During the 2015 season, Robinson says he is working on his pass rushing technique, posture, leverage and balance.

This will be the year Robinson makes some necessary adjustments to his game and leverages his intelligence, strength, and size to make big plays. He already has his fair share of big plays, however, frustrating opposing blockers, collapsing the pocket, and stopping plays in the backfield.

Robinson plans on adjusting his body composition to maximize his effectiveness and increase his potential. Already quick, a more streamlined physique could make him even more agile and nimble.
