Zac Brown Band pumps up J.J. Watt in new ad (Video)

Country music group Zac Brown band tries to pump up Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt in a new commercial.

Bose is trying to compete with Beats By Dre in the noteworthy ads starring professional athletes department. The athlete they’ve recruited to try and sack those Beats By Dre commercials is a specialist, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.

As a star NFL player and arguably the most dominant defensive player in the league at the moment, you probaby think Watt doesn’t need a whole lot of motivation when he takes the field. The premise of this commercial is the opposite, that even Watt needs a pep talk from time to time.

And who is going to deliver those talks? None other than the Zac Brown Band.

Though the Zac Brown Band doesn’t go that route. Instead they pour water on Watt’s face, a bold and dangerous move, before smashing a guitar on a locker. Of course they’re revealed to not be there and instead Watt is sitting listening to their music on a Bose wireless speaker and finding his motivation through their music.

Which of course begs the question, does Zac Brown Band really fire up Watt?
