Ronnie Hillman-Denver Broncos (46.7%)

Another back in a timeshare who can contribute to your team even in his limited carries is Broncos’ running back Ronnie Hillman.  Hillman and his teammate C.J. Anderson have both struggled to get much going this season, but Hillman was the first to have a “breakthrough” this past week against the Vikings.

His totals were excellent as he ripped off 103  years on his 11 carries, but a sizable chunk of those yards came on his 72-yard scamper to the end zone.  Coach Gary Kubiak has been a strong supporter of Hillman who is a good fit for his zone blocking scheme, so look for Hillman to keep getting more work especially if Anderson keeps stumbling.

This week, the Broncos are in Oakland taking on the Raiders before heading to Cleveland before a week 7 bye.  Hillman is a great pickup from the waiver wire running backs and only ranks behind Johnson because I think there is more chance Johnson seizes the job entirely by the time of the fantasy football playoffs.
