Antonio Andrews-Tennessee Titans (6.7%)

The Titans running back situation has been a tricky one to figure out so far this season. In week 1, Bishop Sankey had a big fantasy game and scored a pair of touchdowns.  In week 2, it was Dexter McCluster who posted big numbers in a loss to the Browns, and then in week 3, it was Antonio Andrews who stepped in put up some solid numbers.

Andrews is an undrafted free agent who is in his second year out of Western Kentucky and had never had an NFL carry before week 3.  He led the team in carries in that week, though, carrying the ball 12 times for 49 yards and a touchdown.  Andrews is a big physical “bruiser” of a back who coach Ken Whisenhunt wants to get involved more going forward.

The hard thing for fantasy owners to deal with will be the inconsistency of the workload for each of the Titans’ backs.  They are expected to rotate based on game situation and on their effectiveness in each matchup.  However, Andrews showed enough week 3 that if the Titans want to go to a power running game Andrews will end up being a great pickup.
