Clay Matthews destroys Nick Foles with violent hit (Video)

Clay Matthews hit Nick Foles so hard his future children are already feeling. 

The St. Louis Rams were hoping that acquiring Nick Foles might fix their problem at quarterback and finally right the ship that has been so close to competing in years past. But the Rams are in the same funk they’ve always been in, despite the change at quarterback.

Clay Matthews was there on Sunday to remind the Rams that they’re the same so-so middle of the road NFC team that they’ve always been. Matthews reminded Foles of this in the only way that he can — by hitting him so hard that the linebacker literally bounced off the Rams quarterback.

Foles isn’t having a terrible season this year but he’s also not leading the Rams to the promised land like we all expected him to.

That might be on all of us for assuming that it was Philly that was holing Foles back — even though that’s definitely part of the problem. But the Rams just aren’t a better team than the Packers, or most teams in the NFL, and this is proof of how they can literally get rag dolled and none of us are really all that surprised it happened.
