High Priced Quarterbacks

Tom Brady (9,000): Brady continued his demolition of the NFL with another big game last week throwing for 275 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots’ romp over the Brandon-Weeden-led Cowboys.  He added a rushing TD to give him four straight games with over 20 FanDuel points.  He has been the highest scoring QB by a wide margin so far this year, but he’s still cheaper than Aaron Rodgers on FanDuel this week.  Rodgers is actually in a tough matchup, so I’d definitely go with Brady if you’re planning on spending big this week.  Whether the Patriots use the controversy for extra fuel or not, Brady should be primed for another big game since the Colts have allowed at least 298 passing yards in each of the last three weeks and multiple passing TD’s in three of their last four.

Carson Palmer (8,000): The Cardinals crushed Detroit last week, and Palmer only needed to attempt 14 passes completing 11 for 161 yards and three touchdowns. Palmer has multiple touchdowns in all but one of his games this season and has posted at least 16 FanDuel points in each game this season. He is one of six QB’s averaging over 20 FanDeul points per game joining Rodgers, Brady, Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor, and Andy Dalton.  As the Cardinals face a porous Steelers secondary, he should be ready to turn in another good stat line.

Eli Manning (7,800): Manning came through for the G-men and his fantasy owners on Sunday Night Football throwing for 441 yards and three touchdowns in the Giants win over the 49ers. Manning led the Giants on a game-winning despite not having Reuben Randle or Odell Beckham Jr. drive hitting Larry Donnell with the game-winning pass. This week, he and the Giants have to go on the road to Philadelphia on Monday Night Football. Last season, Manning threw for only one touchdown against the Eagles in their two contests, but he has settled in nicely to the new offense installed at the beginning of last season and has looked comfortable and in control of the system this year aside from a few fourth-quarter meltdowns this team could be 5-0.
