High Value Quarterbacks

Andy Dalton (7,600): Dalton is having a breakout season statistically as the Bengals have started red hot.  He has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the last three weeks and has multiple touchdowns in four of his five games this season.  He  even got it done last week against the Seahawks vaunted defense throwing for 331 yards and two scores while adding a third TD on the ground.  Dalton and the Bengals are on the road this week in Buffalo where Rex Ryan is sure to have some tricks ready for the Red Rifle. However, the Bills’ defense actually ranks 25th against opposing QB’s, so there are points to be made as Dalton and the Bengals try to stay undefeated.

Marcus Mariota (7,200): The Titans lost a tough one last week as Mariota was beaten by Rex Ryan and the Bills while they made the rookie actually look like one for at least one week.  Expect a better performance this week as the Titans host Miami. One positive that came out of last week’s game was that Mariota looked healthy and ran for a career-high 47 rushing yards showing no signs of an ankle injury.  Look for a bounce back performance this week from the former Ducks’ QB.

Teddy Bridgewater (6,600): When last we saw Bridgewater, he was unsuccessfully trying to lead the Vikings on a game winning drive against the Broncos.  He finished that week 4 contest with a season-high 269 yards passing and added 23 yards on the ground.  This week, Bridgewater will look to build on that performance as he and the Vikings come off their bye and take on a vulnerable Chiefs defense.  Kansas City has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing QB’s, so look for Bridgewater to be a solid sleeper option at a very cheap price this week.
