QB Sleepers

Ryan Fitzpatrick-New York Jets: Fitzpatrick and the Jets looked impressive coming off their bye with a 34-20 win over Washington that wasn’t as close as the final score indicated.  Fitz  threw for 253 yards and a pair of TDs while adding 31 yards and another TD on the ground.

Brian Hoyer-Houston Texans: Hoyer got the start for Houston this week, and the Texans got the win in Jacksonville. Hoyer threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns while getting plenty of looks for Texans star receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Blake Bortles-Jacksonville Jaguars: On the other side of that same game, Bortles threw for 331 yards and three scores but also threw three picks.  He added 37 yards on the ground, but was forced to throw the ball 53 times going 30/53. Bortles is getting plenty of volume as the Jags play from behind, but he’ll be much more efficient if the Jags can get more of a running game going.

Landry Jones-Pittsburgh Steelers: Jones was the most surprising contributing QB of fantasy football week 6 stepping in to throw a pair of touchdowns going 8/12 for 168 yards. Hopefully, Big Ben is ready to return next week, but if he’s not Jones may have stated his case to start for the Steelers until Ben’s back.
