Fantasy football: DraftKings week 7 picks
High Priced Quarterbacks
Andrew Luck (7,600): Luck looked sketchy at times in the Colts’ loss to New England, but his final numbers looked good especially when you consider that he hadn’t played in a few weeks. He threw three touchdowns for the first time this season while completing 30 of his 50 pass attempts for 312 yards. After facing Brady, this week Luck and the Colts take on Drew Brees in what should be a pass-heavy, entertaining game to watch on Sunday. The Saints have allowed the second-most DraftKings points to opposing QB’s so Luck should be set up for success this week.
Carson Palmer (6,700): The only team to allow more DraftKings points to opposing QB’s than the Saints are the Ravens who Carson Palmer and the Cardinals take on this Monday. Palmer only threw one touchdown in Arizona’s loss in Pittsburgh last week, but he still finished with an impressive 421 yards. He should be set up for a big bounceback week against the Ravens, so go with him if you don’t mind waiting until Monday for your points.
Philip Rivers (6,500): Palmer’s 421 would have received more attention if Philip Rivers hadn’t dropped 503 against the Packers. Rivers completed 43 of his 65 attempts and threw two touchdowns without an interception. He gets a good matchup at home against the Raiders, so as long as the game doesn’t get out of hand early look for Rivers to finish with another good line.
