High Value Quarterbacks

Ryan Tannehill (5,700): In Dan Campbell’s first game as head coach, the Dolphins offense was much more balanced which helped Tannehill throw for two scores and 266 yards although he still threw a pair of picks. He has thrown two touchdowns in every game since week 1, but he’ll have to cut down on turnovers before he’s a top option.  He does have  good matchup this week in Houston, though, so he’s a solid option in this upper 5,000’s for DraftKings week 7.

Ryan Fitzpatrick (5,200): Fitzpatrick takes on a Patriots’ defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing QB’s this week coming off a three touchdown performance last week (two passing, one rushing).  Fitz has thrown multiple scores in every start he has made this season except for one and has passed for over 240 yards in three of his last four games.  If the Jets fall behind, they may have to take to the air more than usual leaving some numbers for Fitzpatrick to collect as the game winds down.

Landry Jones (5,100): If Big Ben can’t give it a go this week, Landry Jones makes an interesting sleeper play against the woeful Chiefs secondary.  Jones threw for 168 yards and a pair of touchdowns last week against Arizona, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him get the start in Arrowhead.  He’s a bit of a flier to be sure, but he’s also an extremely affordable play which will let you load up elsewhere.

Week 6 picks: Andy Dalton, Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles
