Team Defenses

Arizona Cardinals (3,600): The Arizona defense was awful last week in Pittsburgh managing just one sack and forcing no turnovers.  Expect them to bounce back well this week as they return home on Monday Night Football to host the Ravens who have multiple turnovers in four of their six games.  They’re pricey and I think you can get better value elsewhere, but they are the best if salary is no obstacle for you this week.

Carolina Panthers (3,100): The Panthers defense has been a solid unit even without Luke Kuechly and getting their All-Pro linebacker back helped them put up a solid game on the road in Seattle.  This week, they’ll host the Eagles on a short week who were pretty generous with the ball on Monday Night Football which could set up well for the Cats’ D to continue their impressive start to the season.

New York Giants (2,800): The G-men host the Cowboys in week 7 as Dallas rolls out a new-look offense after benching Brandon Weeden and also reportedly going away from Joseph Randle as their primary ballcarrier.  Randle is expected to be replaced by Christine Michael and Matt Cassel will take Weeden’s place under center. Cassel has been turnover-prone in the past, and the Giants’ defense has posted at least nine DraftKings points in three of their last four games.

Pittsburgh Steelers (2,600): The Steelers gave up over 400 yards passing to the Cardinals last week but still got the win thanks to forcing three turnovers and allowing just 13 points.  They’ll be in a good matchup this week against a Chiefs offense that really struggled in their first game without Jamaal Charles. Kansas City could also be without Jeremy Maclin this week leaving very few potential playmakers in the Chiefs’ attack.

Washington Redskins (2,500): Washington’s defense has double-digit DraftKings points in each of their last three games and at least five DraftKings points in every game this season.  This week, they’ll take on the Bucs and Jameis Winston who has turned the ball over quite a bit in his rookie season.  Washington is cheap, but they should be able to deliver a solid game at home against the Bucs coming off a bye.

Week 6 Picks: Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions
