Stefon Diggs-Minnesota Vikings

After being my deep sleeper last week, Diggs is still a great option on top of my list of wide receiver sleepers this week.  Diggs has plenty of upside if you can grab him for this week as the Vikings head to Detroit.

Last week, Diggs hauled in seven passes for 129 yards giving him 13 catches and 216 yards in his two NFL games in his career.  Diggs was filling in for an injured Charles Johnson, but it appears that he has seized his opportunity and will continue to start today despite Johnson’s return.

Diggs quickly showed he has a nice rapport with QB Teddy Bridgewater and led the team last week in catches and receiving yards while tying for the team-high with nine targets.  The Vikings have multiple options at wide receiver, but none has clicked as well with Bridgewater so far this year.

Even with big weeks in each of his two games–week 4 against Denver and week 6 against Kansas City around the Vikings’ week 5 bye, Diggs is only 4,200 on DraftKings and 5,800 on FanDuel.  He is still available in 60% of ESPN leagues and is the top option to add if you need some instant help from your sleeper wide receivers. I see Diggs as a high-end WR3 this week with upside to perform even better as the Vikings face Detroit in what could be a high-scoring game.
