Michael Floyd-Arizona Cardinals

Starting preseason with dislocated fingers will slow any receiver down, and Michael Floyd is still working his way into the Arizona aerial attack after the early injury this season.  He has played every game this season, but he is clearly behind both Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown in the team’s hierarchy at wide receiver.

Floyd has shown signs of coming around, though, in the last few weeks.  He had five catches for 59 yards in week 4 against the Rams, and after a quiet week 5 he caught five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers last week.  He almost had a second score on a long bomb but couldn’t keep his feet in and also had a touchdown overturned by a penalty. Floyd was targeted eight times which is the most he has been involved in any game this season.

This week, Floyd and the Cardinals are in a great matchup on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens who have allowed the second-most fantasy points in the NFL to opposing wide receivers.  If you have to take an ultra-cheap flier on DraftKings where he is just 3,000 or on FanDuel where he is 4,900, Floyd is worth considering if you don’t mind waiting for your points until Monday Night Football.
