Time Inc.’s FanSided Releases New Mobile Football Apps on iTunes

Time Inc.’s FanSided is releasing new mobile apps for Saturday Blitz, The Landry Hat and NFL Spin Zone for iTunes users on mobile devices.
New York, NY (10.28.15) — A suite of new mobile apps are being introduced today from Time Inc.’s (NYSE: TIME) FanSided network adding to the growing portfolio of mobile first products offered from the company. These free apps: “NFL Spin Zone,” “Saturday Blitz” and “The Landry Hat” are available now in the App Store.
The Fansided network of 300+ sites was acquired earlier this year by Time Inc. and operates within the Sports Illustrated Group. The network boasts an audience of 8.5 million (September 2015 comScore) and a mobile audience that has grown 155% in the last year. These apps are the beginning of a series of new offerings that will rollout in the coming months. Today’s launches come on the heels of a series of sports specific initiatives from Time Inc. and the Sports Illustrated Group including the recent premiere of SI Films, the launch of Campus Rush and the recent formation of Sports Illustrated Play, a new division devoted to youth sports.
