Here’s proof Glenn survived on The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead killed off Glenn on last week’s episodes — or did they?

Fans of The Walking Dead have been conflicted all week long, as the struggle to cope with the potential death of Glenn after what we saw last week.

There seemed to be pretty definitive proof that he was dead — as he was screaming for his life in the middle of a herd of walkers. But that wasn’t enough to convince fans that one of the purest and most likable characters on the show was indeed dead and gone for good.

One of the most popular pieces of evidence to lean on for fans of the theory that Glenn is not dead was seen in his absence from the Talking Dead ‘In Memoriam’ segment. Naysayers have stated that this was simply done out of respect to the character and how important he was to the show — but that hasn’t stopped other major characters who were killed off from being included in that segment.

Everyone from Tyreese to Bob and Beth were included in the In Memoriam segment of Talking Dead, and each of their deaths were brutal to watch. None of them deserved to die and all of them had story left to be told when they were killed off. So why all of the sudden get precious about Glenn?

Perhaps the greatest piece of evidence being thrown out there is the fact that no one believes the guts we saw being torn out were that of Glenn. Nicholas fell on top of him and could very well be the body that is being eaten. But then there’s this piece of evidence which seems to be a game changer:

That’s a set photo from an episode that has yet to air — and that’s Glenn with a character we have yet to meet.

Unless The Walking Dead goes into a flashback storyline that involves a dead character hanging out with Glenn in a timeline before that of Glenn’s death, this is proof that Glenn will survive. It’s improbable that he will make it out of the herd of walkers, but all signs seem to point in that very direction as we head towards this weekend’s new episode.
