Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly dressed as his quarterback, Cam Newton, for Halloween

Ask anyone who follows the Carolina Panthers who the most important player on each side of the ball is and nearly 100 percent of them will tell you quarterback Cam Newton and linebacker Luke Kuechly. For Halloween, Kuechly decided he wanted to at least be his quarterback for one day out of the year.

Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis shared a photo to Instagram on Halloween morning of Kuechly dressed as Newton and it’s possibly the greatest thing that you’ll see this Halloween:

As Davis says in the post, Kuechly is spot on with that costume. From the red jersey to the do-rag, everything is just perfect. You also have to love Kuechly’s face beaming with pride in the picture while Newton looks unsure of why he feels like he’s looking in a mirror.

The Panthers enter Week 8 of the 2015 season as one of the five remaining undefeated teams in the league. Perhaps it has something to do with the intangible quality some teams have where they are just a brotherhood going to war together. Given this picture and Kuechly’s Halloween costume choice, they certainly look like a brotherhood to me.
