Davante Adams-Green Bay Packers

Before his ankle injury, Davante Adams was running in all of the Packers three-receiver sets alongside Randall Cobb and James Jones.  He was actually getting more targets than Jones although Jones was getting red zone looks from Rodgers.

Adams was injured back in week 2, though, and hasn’t played since a token appearance with no targets in week 3.  As a result of his long layoff, Adams has been dropped in over 50% of ESPN leagues and his price has dropped substantially on DraftKings (3,900) and FanDuel (5,300). He is reportedly healthy after the Packers’ bye week and was able to turn in a full practice on Friday.  He may take a while to get back to full speed, but I expect him to see plenty of time tonight in Denver.

As the Broncos focus on taking away Randall Cobb and James Jones, Adams may be in line to get the best of his matchup, and if he is able to get open you know Aaron Rodgers will get him the ball.  Adams is risky since he hasn’t played in a while, but there is plenty of upside to picking up the Packers’ WR this week.
