The San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens are hooking up for one of the more entertaining games of the 2015 National Football League season. In the third quarter, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers spiced up the game further with a 70-yard bomb to Malcom Floyd, putting San Diego ahead, 23-16.

The Chargers are having a rough season, but Rivers continues to play at a Hall of Fame level. Rivers has already thrown for 2,452 yards and 15 touchdowns (heading into Sunday) and against the Ravens, has tossed another three touchdowns. Should San Diego have any hope of coming back into the playoff chase, it will be on the right arm of Rivers.

Floyd has not done much through the first seven weeks of the season, only catching 17 passes for 317 yards and a touchdown. However, his game against Baltimore suddenly has Floyd looking like a top weapon once again. Floyd is 34 years old and will be hitting the free-agent market in the offseason, looking for one final contract.

It will be tough for Floyd to get a multi-year deal with any kind of guaranteed money if he does not play well throughout the final two months of the season. With the Chargers at 2-5 and likely looking to miss the playoffs for the second straight season, Floyd will need to ball out to get any attention paid his way.
