RB Studs

Todd Gurley-St. Louis Rams: Gurley had the best week of all running backs and was the only back with over 100 yards and a touchdown.  He finished with a league-high 133 yards on his 20 carries while scoring  a rushing touchdown.  He added three catches for 13 more yards on another big day for the rookie who is clearly the Rams’ go-to option on offense right now.

Ronnie Hillman-Denver Broncos: Hillman was the only running back in the NFL to run for multiple touchdowns in fantasy football week 8.  He helped Denver to a big win last night totaling 60 yards on his 19 carries to go with his two scores.

Dion Lewis-New England Patriots: There were questions as to whether Lewis would suit up on Thursday, but he did and was extremely effective as the Patriots passing-down back.  He did rush five times for 19 yards, but his real value came int he passing game where he totaled 93 yards and a touchdown on his six catches.

C.J. Anderson-Denver Broncos: Anderson has been a disappointment all season, but last night he had over 100 yards and a touchdown for Denver in their win over Green Bay.  Anderson finished with 14 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown and added five yards on his only catch of the day.

Devonta Freeman-Atlanta Falcons: Freeman didn’t get into the end zone this week, but he still had a productive day totaling 131 yards on his 21 carries for 88 yards and his six catches for 43 receiving yards.

Mark Ingram-New Orleans Saints: Ingram lost his backfield-mate Khiry Robinson, but he managed to put together a solid game despite the Saints focusing so much on the passing game.  Ingram ran for 80 yards on his 16 carries and caught four passes for 39 yards.  His owners can only hope that Robinson’s injury leads to him getting all the touches out of the backfield going forward.

Latavius Murray-Oakland Raiders: Murray was in a horrible matchup in Oakland as the Jets defense came to town, but he put up a solid stat line in the Raiders big win.  Murray ran for 113 yards on his 20 carries and added six yards receiving although he failed to get into the end zone this week.

Adrian Peterson-Minnesota Vikings: Peterson isn’t get into the end zone either, but was one of just four backs with over 100 yards.  He finished with 103 on his 20 carries and added six more on his pair of catches.  Minnesota got a big road win, but AP failed to get a rushing touchdown for the third straight week.
