RB Duds

Both Matt Forte and Le’Veon Bell had disappointing days due to injury, but I’m leaving them off this list since they had at least decent production before they departed. These players on the other hand were virtual no-shows for their owners:

Chris Ivory-New York Jets: Ivory was in a great matchup against the Raiders defense, but the suddenly found a way to stuff the run holding the Jets’ back to just 17 yards on his 15 carries.  Ivory did manage 24 yards on his three catches, but it was a rough day for New York overall after they lost Ryan Fitzpatrick and later lost his backup Geno Smith.

Ameer Abdullah-Detroit Lions: The Lions “breakout” rookie running back looks to be just broken.  He only had three yards on one carry and failed to catch either pass thrown his direction.

Andre Ellington-Arizona Cardinals: Ellington has lost his job to Chris Johnson and isn’t going to get it back with performances like Sunday’s when he totaled zero yards on three carries and didn’t catch the one target he received.

Reggie Bush-San Francisco 49ers: Bush was expected to start for the 49ers in place of the injured Carlos Hyde, but he slipped on the concrete on a punt return and reportedly suffered a torn ACL.  He didn’t have any carries or catches on the day an finished with no fantasy production.
