Triple H sends Kansas City Royals their own WWE title belt
By Paulo Acoba
The Kansas City Royals might have won the infamous Commissioner’s Trophy but it looks like they’ve got another piece to add to their trophy case.
The Commissioner’s Trophy was never really portable and it takes at least two hands to hoist it around, but this trophy courtesy of Hunter Hearst Helmsley is slightly more portable and can even be worn around your waist.
According to Triple H himself, earlier Monday, not only did he send his congratulations to the Kansas City Royal’s on their World Series Win, it looks like he’s sending them a package using overnight delivery with an impressive WWE jewel encrusted title belt. Check out that picture below!
This definitely isn’t the first time the WWE sent a title belt to a championship winning team as back in June we reported that Vince McMahon himself had sent a title belt to the Chicago Blackhawks shortly after winning the Stanley Cup this year (although there might’ve been a bit of side drama attached to that one.)
It should be noted that the Kansas City logo on either side of the belt is fastened with two flathead screws. We think this is so that in 2016 if the Royals don’t defend their title successfully, they’ll have the opportunity to pass the title belt on to the new winners.
Nevertheless, it’s a classy move by Triple H and the WWE as it was a well deserved win by the Kansas City Royals that spanned more than 30 years in the making.
Humorously, some fans on twitter including stand-up comedian Rocco Deserto are asking for their own belts for entirely different reasons.
Needless to say, unless there is some publicity in the matter, everyday fans aren’t likely to be receiving complimentary title belts anytime soon.
