Arkansas (+11) over No. 19 Ole Miss

I just can’t lay double-digits here. That is the rationale behind taking a team in Arkansas that I’m tired of picking (even against the number), and to be honest, it wouldn’t surprise me if Ole Miss dominated this game. In good conscience, I can’t tell you that I have a great deal of confidence in the Razorbacks, and that is what happens when you’re picking every single game, but hey, Bret Bielema can be fun and Arkansas might just take the air out of the ball entirely in this spot. Take the points!

Cincinnati (+9) over No. 18 Houston

Cincinnati is better than you think. Everyone loves Houston. This is nearly a double-digit spread. Smells like a game where I would like the underdog, right? I wouldn’t call this a “best bet” by any means, but the Bearcats are frisky enough where I like this side.

Rutgers (+24) over No. 16 Michigan

Las Vegas continues to give huge respect to Michigan, and while Jim Harbaugh commands that type of love with his sheer presence, this line is too high. Yes, Rutgers stinks to high heaven, but the Wolverines don’t really possess the offensive firepower of a team that should be laying 24 points in a conference game. Besides, Michigan has failed to cover as a big favorite in back-to-back games. The Maize and Blue are in no danger of losing this game, but I feel confident that Rutgers won’t lose by more than three touchdowns.
