Coming into the 2015 NFL season, there was really no one who had a bigger microscope on them than New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. After all of the Deflategate controversy, Brady had become one of the biggest villains in the entire league, even more so than he had been before.

However, for as much as you may think people despise the four-time Super Bowl winner, his jersey sales may tell you another story. As a matter of fact, the entire month of October will tell you that story.

According to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Jersey Report, which reflects sales both nationwide and online, Brady was quite dominant in October when it comes to his jersey sales. How dominant? Well, of the 31 days that are in the month, Brady’s jersey was the best-selling in 20 of them.

So, yes, while those outside of the Patriots bubble may believe that Tom Brady is the absolute worst, there are definitely those out there that believe he’s still the premier name in all of the NFL. You don’t sell jerseys like this if your popularity is non-existent.

What also helps here is the fact that Brady is on fire this year so far as he’s led the Patriots to an undefeated record. In 2015 here, Brady has thrown for 2,410 yards with 20 touchdowns and just one interception. When you’re playing at a level like that, then yes, your jersey sales will tend to skyrocket.
