Todd Gurley wears a tutu in a new Jolly Rancher ad, making light of supposed NFL rookie hazing.

Todd Gurley is back from his torn ACL and running all over people in the NFL as a member of the St. Louis Rams. However, the 10th overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Georgia is still a rookie. That means rookie hazing. That means Hershey gets to promote their brand Jolly Rancher with Todd Gurley in a tutu.

“Dance, Gurley man. Dance!” At first Todd Gurley doesn’t enjoy wearing his tutu and the disembodied voice let’s you not it right away. “Being a rookie sucks.” After grabbing a sour apple Jolly Rancher from his locker, Gurley puts a smile on his face before beginning his well orchestrated dance routine of “I’m a Little Teapot”.

If Seattle Seahawks running back has a vice-like grip on M&M/Mars endorsements because he loves Skittles, it seems as though Hershey has their answer in the awesome rookie tailback Todd Gurley. This NFC West rivalry between the St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks just got so much more interesting.

Not only are both teams contending for NFC Playoff berths in 2015 with fellow divisional rival Arizona, but there is apparently a candy war going on in the NFC West. Who knows what could transpire if Cardinals running back Chris Johnson signs a deal to endorse Nestle products? It’s gearing up to for a sugar-packed showdown in the NFC West. Are Skittles, Jolly Ranchers, or even Butterfingers or Gobstoppers going to reign supreme in one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL?

For now, St. Louis Rams can feel excited about the fact that their star rookie running back can embrace wearing a tutu. However, does that mean he can run all over the gridiron in one if need be? Of course he can! It’s Todd Gurley! Expect him to do a pirouette in the end zone the next time he rushes for a 20+ yard score.
