Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray took a huge shot against the Steelers on Sunday that knocked him out of the game

Without question, one of the more valuable players on the Oakland Raiders is running back Latavius Murray. However, on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he took quite the vicious shot and has since had to leave the game.

In the third quarter of this one, Murray took a helmet-to-helmet shot from Steelers safety Mike Mitchell. Immediately after he took the shot, the ball came loose and he went right to the ground in what was a pretty scary scene actually.

You absolutely never like to see someone drop like that after taking a hit to the head, because the results are generally never all that good. After he was knocked out on the field, he would make his way back to the locker room, but you could see that he was pretty dazed and out of it.

Of course, as you may expect, the Raiders announced that he is being evaluated for a concussion.

Hopefully everything comes back OK in regards to Murray’s health, because that was quite the frightening shot that he took from Mitchell on that play.
