RB Studs

DeAngelo Williams-Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers lost Big Ben but still got a win thanks to big plays from Antonio Brown (listed later) and DeAngelo Williams.  Williams ran for 170 yards on his 27 carries while rushing for two touchdowns.  He added 55 yards on two catches and also had a successful two-point conversion. He went from my top waiver wire pickup to top fantasy RB in just one week and he should continue to be a beast for the Steelers going forward.

Lamar Miller-Miami Dolphins: Miami struggled in their loss to Buffalo, but Miller got both of their touchdowns in a 33-17 loss.  He ran for just 44 yards on his 12 carries, but his two rushing touchdowns and 97 receiving yards on seven catches definitely made up for the lack of yards on the ground.

Adrian Peterson-Minnesota Vikings: In his showdown with Todd Gurley, Peterson got the best of his young challenger both on the stat sheet and the scoreboard.  Peterson ripped off 125 yards on 29 carries while getting into the end zone and adding two catches for 18 yards.

DeMarco Murray-Philadelphia Eagles: Murray had a strong game against his former team running for 83 yards and a touchdowns while adding 78 more yards on six catches.

LeSean McCoy-Buffalo Bills: McCoy started the game healthy and looking good.  He ran for 112 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and added seven more yards on his two catches.   He didn’t stay healthy for long sustaining a shoulder injury which puts his future availability in question, but he was good for his owners for this week.

Chris Ivory-New York Jets: The Jets got the lead on Jacksonville and just kept pounding Ivory.  He had 23 carries but only managed 26 rushing yards to go with 22 receiving yards on three catches.  The way he still is on our stud list, though, is that he got into the end zone twice.

Todd Gurley-St. Louis Rams: Gurley couldn’t match Peterson’s production, but he still had solid numbers rushing for 89 yards and a touchdown and adding 20 yards on his three catches.  He has over 100 all-purpose yards in five straight games and will continue to be the lead workhorse in the St. Louis offense.
